Ventela is one of the most searched local sneaker brands in Indonesia, so it is no surprise that lots of shops and accounts use its name. The surest way to get genuine Ventela is not to judge from photos, but to check where you are buying from, then compare the product with the official specs.
1. Start with the seller, not the shoe
Ventela keeps one official list: the website, Authorized Stores and social media accounts run or appointed directly by Ventela. Before you check out, paste the shop link, user ID or account name into the Authenticity Check.
- On the list: you are buying from an official channel.
- Not on the list: it is not an official Ventela channel, and Ventela cannot vouch for the product or the transaction.
- A name like an Authorized Store, but not listed: be extra careful, especially if it calls itself “official” or “pusat”. Match the user ID.
2. Know the official specs of each series
Ventela lists the materials of every series on its product pages. If the shoes on offer look very different, or the seller cannot explain them, ask before you pay.

These canvas series use nylon thread, rubber foxing and outsoles and, on lace-up models, silver aluminium eyelets with rings. Sizes run from 36 to 45, unisex. Full details per series are on the Collection page.
3. Compare the price
A price far below the official retail price is a red flag. For reference, Ventela announced retail prices of Rp349,800 for the V-22 and Rp429,800 for Ventela RF on its official Instagram.
4. Do not trust “official” labels and blue checks alone
Shop names such as “Ventela Official”, “Ventela Pusat” or “Official Store” can be used by anyone. A blue check on social media can be bought with a subscription. Only Ventela’s official list decides what is official.
5. Watch out for old models sold as new
According to Ventela, the Classic (zipper and velcro), W301, W305, W501, W701 and Chelsea models are discontinued. If they are offered as new stock, ask where they came from.
6. For the Champion Pokémon edition

Contact the seller and use the complaint or return feature of the marketplace you bought from. That is why paying inside the marketplace is safer than a direct transfer. Then report the shop so the Ventela team can look into it and other buyers are not fooled.
